Farmers Market

700 South Main Street

Princeton, Illinois
Phone: 815-303-8192

Overview

We believe there is something to be said about a farm-fresh meal. The freshness, the deliciousness, the hands that prepared it, we just can’t get enough of it. That is why volunteers in the community have dedicated themselves to the Princeton Farmers’ Market.

At the market, vendors strive to improve the access to local, healthy and affordable food through a direct farm-to-consumer venue that will serve a diverse population throughout north central Illinois. Volunteers of the market will also strive educate children and adults on the nutritional and environmental benefits of locally grown food and all aspects of Bureau County agriculture. We believe that small, local farms an essential part of the local economy.

Through the market, we hope to make economic and education connections between area residents and local farmers.

The Princeton Farmers’ Market is open Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. May 28th -October 29th across from the court house in Princeton, Illinois. 14 Park Ave E, Princeton, IL 61356. Be sure to stop in regularly to visit with local farmers and choose market selections that grow as the season progresses.
