The Princeton Park District maintains over 200 acres of parks. It is Princeton’s mission to provide leisure and recreations services to our communities and to provide safe, inviting and family-oriented activities for all residents.
Recreational Facilities
Bureau County Metro Center
The Bureau County Metro Center is a 50,000 square-foot recreation center with full size gymnasium; 25-yard indoor swimming pool; racquetball courts; weight room; cardio-vascular room, and elevated track above the gym.
Alexander Park
Take a dip and cool off at Alexander Park Pool and then when you are ready have a picnic in the park and rocket down the slide and fly through the air on a swing.
Zearing Park
Zearing Park features 6 fields of various sizes and 3 baseball fields. There are shelters that can be rented, a 1.3 mile walking/recreation path, a 3-acre pond to fish and enjoy as well as a playground and restrooms.
Golfing
Chapel Hills Golf Course
Chapel Hills is an 18-hole public golf course, known for its plantation style clubhouse. It is a perfect location to host weddings or other events.
Wyaton Hills Golf Course
Wyaton Hills Golf Course is a leading golf course serving Bureau County since 1961. They offer golf courses, golf club repairs, driving ranges, and much more.
